Taster - Mixed Building and Wheel throwing - 1 day class, 3 hours (6 participants)

Welcome to a fun and inspiring session in the ceramics studio! Over the course of three hours, you’ll have the chance to try out different ceramic-making techniques in a creative, relaxed environment – no prior experience needed.

We’ll start with a short introduction where the instructor demonstrates the basics of hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, slab building, and later, wheel throwing. In groups of three, we’ll then take turns exploring each method, with personal guidance at your own pace. The focus is all about having fun, letting go of pressure, and enjoying the moment. Perfect as a cozy treat for yourself, a creative date, or a fun activity with a friend.

At the end of the session, you’ll choose a glaze for your pieces, which we’ll then glaze and fire for you – ready for pickup 4-6 weeks later.

Just bring an open mind (and clothes that don’t mind a bit of clay), and we’ll take care of the rest. Messy, joyful, and calming – just the way it should be.

The workshop can be held in both Swedish and English.

Cajsa Karlsson:  "I started with ceramics in 2017 and have since deepened my craft through courses in both Hong Kong and Denmark to refine my technique. I mainly work on the wheel, but I enjoy combining different techniques to explore form and expression. I'm really looking forward to sharing my knowledge, inspiring creative exploration – and most of all, having fun together in the studio!"

Välkommen till en rolig och inspirerande stund i keramikstudion! Under tre timmar får du möjlighet att prova olika tillverkningstekniker inom keramik, i en kreativ och kravlös miljö där inga förkunskaper krävs.

Vi börjar med en kort introduktion där kursledaren visar grundläggande moment inom tumning, ringling, kavling och drejning. Därefter turas vi om i grupper om tre att testa de olika teknikerna, med personlig handledning i din egen takt. Fokus ligger på att ha kul, släppa prestationskrav och njuta av stunden. Perfekt som en mysig stund för dig själv, en kreativ dejt eller en rolig aktivitet med en vän.

Kursen avslutas med att du väljer glasyr till dina alster, som vi sedan glaserar och bränner åt dig – klara för upphämtning 4-6 veckor senare.

Ta med ett öppet sinne (och kläder som tål lite lera), så tar vi hand om resten. Lerigt, härligt och rogivande – precis som det ska vara.

Kursen kan hållas både på svenska och engelska.
